Todays woman?

So after about a year in the dating scene maybe I am meeting the wrong women or maybe I am too old fashioned for today's woman. Here is what I have noticed about todays woman;

• Having space and being alone from time to time is very important
• A new mantra of "I need to be good for myself before I can be good for anyone else" is sweeping the nation. Most take this to mean "me first" which flies in the face of how a family should run.
• many say they are self sufficient and do not need anyone to take care of them, but get divorced and they still want alimony, child support and for you to accommodate them at every turn or else they will drag you ass into court. So really you are still supporting them, just without the benefit of being married and all the perks that go with that.
• If you need your space and want to spend quality time with your friends why do you need me? Better yet why is your profile on a singles site? What do you really want...or do you know? Most are too afraid to admit what they really want which is a guy to be there and hold them when they feel vulnerable and kiss off when they are feeling empowered.
• Most women do not know how to take personal responsibility these days. Things are bad because of someone else, or something happened to them or events and circumstances were stacked against them...it is never their fault and they will never admit they screwed up and maybe made a mistake or bad choice.
• most know what commitment means , just choose not to honor it when it is not convenient.
• They are not materialistic and it is not about the money, but if you don't have a nice car, house and retirement account you are worthless to them.
• They want to feel secure even if it means going it alone and being less secure.
