What Really Matters

WTF? The biggest news story of the day is Nick and Jessica might be getting a divorce....and it may not even be true (not that it matters). Meanwhile Clinton's old CIA director is releasing a tell all book with even more revelations on how much Clinton lied and decieved the very people he was supposed to be working for...american citizens. If you voted for him what will it take to admit you were duped? Although I voted for W. and am starting to feel the same way. Let's elect John Doe off the street next election for President> Someone with NO POLITICAL EXPERIENCE. While we are at it let's do that for all of the political offices! We can't do any worse than what we have now can we? I would rather have people who break the law because they didn't know it was illegal than people who doing it with full knowledge.
But first Americans need to keep their eye on the ball. Politics affects your life and rights and how you live your life. Nick and Jessica and who won the playoffs DO NOT! Knowing your kids teacher and how well they are doing in school affects you life and theirs. Not the Amazing Race or Lost or Survivor or American Idol. Your weight and your health affect your life and how you live it......the TV adds NOTHING!!!!!!!!!
People are getting fat, lazy and stupid about things that matter. Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, Shaq, and Michelle Wei make more money than your kids teacher, your banker and the gut who runs the country that you will rely on if there is a disaster.....combined! What the hell have Shaq, Jessica and Britney done for you lately? I don't see them wading through the water in New Orleans to help carry big screen TV's for anyone.
There needs to be a serious priority shift people. We need to get on top of what matters most and it all starts in your home in your back yard on your street. If everyone worried about cleaning up their own back yard the trouble spots would be a lot easier to identify and get taken care of.
